January 2010 State Officer BriefPrint “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” Hello Wyoming FBLA members! Now that we’ve all had a chance to get back into the swing of things
and finish up the first semester, everyone should be getting ready for the
State Leadership Conference in Sheridan March 18-20. Your state officer team
is working hard to make this one of the best ones yet! With the holidays behind us, it’s still important to stay involved in community service projects as there are many folks who are struggling to get through the long winter months. Some ideas include canned food drives and visiting your local nursing homes. Be sure to send pictures of what your chapter is doing by e-mailing them to us at wyomingfbla@yahoo.com and we will put them up on the Wyoming FBLA MySpace and also put them on the slideshow at SLC so you can show everyone what your chapter did this year! During the month of February be sure to celebrate National FBLA week the 8th-12th. Our chapter hosts a Dating Game and serves chili and pie at a home basketball game that week. This is a great chance for your chapter members to get involved, have everyone participate in activities and let your hometown know what FBLA is all about! Don’t forget to thank your adviser during FBLA week, as well! Hope you have a great month and we will see you March. Natalie de Ryk
